It has recently been opened to the public and is totally equipped for comfortable living.

Sitting deep in the woods on approximately 60 acres of private woodland, surrounded by hundreds more and bordered by the Juniata River,  Shaddai Lodge offers you privacy and serenity.

There are two well established hiking trails within the property, and dozens more (old logging roads) criss- crossing the mountainside.

  Shaddai Lodge  has been used by honeymooning couples  and by family groups. The loft sleeps 6-8 people comfortably.  

The master bedroom, located on the main floor, has a double bed and a full-sized closet.

The living room is centered around a unique fireplace made from stones the family gathered from the mountain.

The dining area seats 4-6 people at the table and 2 more at the breakfast bar with ample room to enjoy both your meal and the view.

The kitchen contains all the modern amenities including a microwave oven.

Towels, bed linens and blankets are provided. You need only food, clothing and personal toiletries.  You can sit outside on the swing, drink your morning beverage, and watch beautiful scenes such as this unfold before your eyes.
